Frequently Asked Questions

Car Detailing FAQs

It depends on the condition of your vehicle and how quickly it accumulates debris, dust, and grime. Generally speaking, if you are an average driver in moderate to heavy traffic areas, we recommend getting full details twice per year, before and after winter.

We offer a range of professional detailing services to keep your car looking showroom new. Our most popular package is the full detail, which includes exterior hand washing, waxing and polishing, engine bay dressing, tire and wheel conditioning, interior vacuuming and cleaning, leather conditioning (if applicable), and window cleaning. We also offer paint correction services, and ceramic coatings for added protection.

The length of time required to complete a professional detail depends on the size of your vehicle and what type of service you need. For a full detail, we recommend allowing at least three to four hours. For just an interior or exterior detail, the estimated time is usually two to three hours.

No, paint correction is a separate service we offer that can be added on top of any detail package. Paint correction involves removing scratches and swirl marks in your car's finish caused by everyday wear and tear. It usually requires specialized tools and products to restore the paint back to its original condition.

We typically recommend applying a fresh wax or sealant after your vehicle is fully detailed, as this will help protect it from dirt, dust, and UV rays. Waxes and sealants are specially designed to provide a barrier between your paint and the environment, so they should be applied every six months or so for maximum protection.

Yes! We offer professional installation of ceramic coatings that provide an extra layer of protection to keep your vehicle looking glossy and new. Ceramic coatings are particularly useful if you live in an area with a lot of debris or harsh weather, as they provide superior protection against the elements.

The price of our services depends on the size and condition of your vehicle, as well as the type of detail requested. For a drop off detail, our prices start at $200, while our a mobile detail starts at around $300. Prices for paint corrections and ceramic coatings vary depending on the size of your car and the services required.

  1. First, make sure to vacuum up any visible debris or dirt on the seats or even in between the creases in the leather.
  2. Second, use warm water and a microfiber towel to clean the surface.
  3. Lastly, with a mild cleaning solution, start to wash away the grime. Look for a cleaner that foams, and don’t apply it directly to the seat. Instead, apply it to a sponge or brush then, gently swirl, and wipe away excess with a dry microfiber towel. I recommend this leather cleaning kit from CarPro if you prefer to go the DIY route.

The process for getting out paint scratches involves a quick assessment of both its depth and severity.

  1. Contact a Professional: Before attempting to fix scratches on your car paint, it's advisable to consult a professional detailer or auto body technician. They can assess the extent of the damage and provide expert advice on the best course of action.

  2. Evaluate the Damage: While awaiting professional assistance, you can inspect the scratches on your car paint. Determine the depth and severity of the scratches. Some minor scratches may be repairable through DIY methods, while deeper scratches may require professional intervention.

  3. Consider DIY Solutions (if applicable): Depending on the severity of the scratches, you may explore DIY solutions such as using scratch repair kits, polishing compounds, or touch-up paint pens. Follow manufacturer instructions carefully and test any products on a small, inconspicuous area before applying them to the entire scratch. Keep in mind that DIY methods may not be suitable for all types of scratches, and professional help may still be necessary for more serious damage.
